Let me tell you about my very pleasing experience at www.anysystem.com.
First of all, let me explain the circumstances involved here:
1. I'm not rich!
2. I'm in need of a Sun Ultra1 or Ultra 5, either will suit my needs.
3. I have an old, but useful SPARCstation 10.
I begin looking around the 'Net for Ultra 1's and 5's. I find lots!!! Too bad all are priced beyond my means. I do find one place with exceptionally low prices, anysystem.com. I looked at the website for a bit and hit 'About Us' and one of the first lines is:
"Who pays attention to the "little guy"? Usually nobody. That is why we created AnySystem.com."
So I contacted John Butler via e-mail about a proposition I had. Thinking I'd get laughed off the planet! Here's the email I sent him:

Hello,
I have an unusual question, you may even find it very
funny...but I'm in need.
I have a working SS10 (prom 2.25r), two Hypersparc
125Mhz/256Kb modules,64Mb Ram , a GX FB, and a 1GB HD. Would you be willing to
give reasonable trade credit for an Ultra 1 with a decent FB (24bit), I see you
have a few machines. I'd required a minimum of 128Mb ram and 167Mhz. I also have
a ZX 'leo' FB to throw in if it will sweeten the pot.
Of course I'd be willing to ship it out to you, prior to
receiving the Ultra so you may inspect the SS10. I'd rate the condition of my
machine as an 'A-'. It's not quite perfect cosmetically, but sound in all other
respects. The HD doesn't whine, the power supply fans are quite.
I know this sounds a bit bizarre, but I'm a bit poor right
now.
